Joan Hobbs is a results-driven Leadership Coach and Consultant and Human Resources’ / Talent Management / Organizational Development executive with a track record of outstanding partnerships with executives, contributions to strategic, operational and financial results, and committed development of business leaders and teams.
Joan is an experienced leadership coach and consultant, with over 20 years of experience working inside organizations. Joan’s business experience includes senior leadership positions in management, leadership and organizational effectiveness in a number of leading companies in a variety of industries including AstraZeneca / MedImmune (pharmaceutical / biotechnology), Fidelity Investments (financial), Bose Corporation (technology / consumer products), and Office Depot (business supply).
Joan holds a Master's Degree in Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Development from Lesley University, is a graduate of Georgetown University’s Leadership Coaching Certification Program and is a member of the International Coach Federation, the Association for Talent Development and the Human Resources Leadership Forum.
Joan currently serves as Vice President of Talent Management for the American Institutes for Research – where her focus is on leadership and organizational effectiveness - and is the founder of Hobbs Leadership Coaching and Consulting – where her focus is on partnering with leaders and leadership teams to help them reach their highest potential.
