Julia Douglas

For almost 25 years, Julia has been a facilitator and team coach, providing team effectiveness and leadership development programs internationally. Julia’s training solutions are characterized by 3 key elements:

·      Immediately applicable take-aways that impact a group’s performance.

Currently, Julia is the President of Momenteam, an organization focused on providing teams and individuals with the skills, tools and motivation to make significant strides forward in their effectiveness and productivity.  Prior to this, in 1994, Julia co-founded a team-building company with an expertise in experiential learning. 

Julia’s programs, which are often focused on successfully launching new teams and/or re-igniting teams-in-progress, are customized to help participants improve in key areas such as leadership, communication, presence & storytelling, managing change, decision-making & problem-solving, time-management and the overall strengthening of a group’s culture & relationships.  In addition to these programs, Julia also provides in depth Leadership Presence coaching assisting individuals in dramatically improving their impact on, and connection with, their audiences. 

Prior to launching her training & development career, Julia had a diverse career working with Conklin Shows and IBM Canada.  This experience enables her to bring first-hand professional experience of working within corporate America to her clients.  She has an MS in Training & Development from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA and an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Queen’s University in Canada.

She’s also delivered numerous programs through various Universities’ Executive Education programs including Harvard, Suffolk, Duke, Darden, Vanderbilt and Queen’s University in Canada.
